It will transfer contacts, text messages, call history and bookmarks. You have two options for how to perform the transfer -- you can either do it via a microSD card, or via the Internet. If you choose the latter option, your data will only be kept on SPB's servers for 12 hours, and it will be encrypted the whole time.
Of course, there are other ways to get some of this data from one device to another -- contacts, for example, can be synced to a number of online services including Google. But SPB's tool provides a simple and intuitive way of getting much more personal stuff onto your new device at once.
SPB Migration Tool is available in the Android Market for $9.95. To download it, either search for it in the Market or use the barcode after the break.
To start the transfer process, go to the Migrate to Android site, select your devices, and then follow the wizard's easy, step-by-step instructions.
SPB Migration Tool can export data from smartphones running Symbian S60 3rd Edition and later, as well as Windows Mobile 5 and later (Professional editions only). The Android device you will be transferring the data to needs to run at least Android 2.1.
